Ankle Prehab


Strengthen your ankles in multple planes and challenge their stability with this drill series from @dr.nicolept - Nicole Surdyka.

These exercises force you to control your ankle eversion and inversion. . In the first exercise, the further you reach with the moving foot, the more you will feel your standing ankle want to invert (roll outward). Control this by keeping your whole foot on the ground throughout the movement. . In the second exercise, try to notice if your ankle wants to stay on the lateral (outside) edge of your foot as you step up. Can you try to keep your whole foot flat while stepping up with equal pressure throughout your foot? . Try these out to keep your ankles strong and healthy.
